1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By downloading, accessing, or using MacroMate, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

2. WHAT MACROMATE DOES

MacroMate provides:

  • Nutrition information for restaurant meals
  • Personalized meal recommendations
  • Menu scanning and analysis
  • Restaurant discovery
  • Premium features via subscription

3. ELIGIBILITY

By using MacroMate, you represent that:

  • You are at least 13 years old
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
  • You will provide accurate account information
  • You will use the app for personal, lawful purposes only
  • You will not attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service

4. SUBSCRIPTION TERMS

AUTO-RENEWABLE SUBSCRIPTIONS:

MacroMate offers the following subscription options:

  • Monthly Subscription: $4.99/month
  • Annual Subscription: $49.99/year
  • Lifetime Purchase: $119.99 (one-time payment)

SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS:

  • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings
  • Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period

FREE TRIAL:

  • New users may be eligible for a free trial period (typically 2 weeks)
  • You will not be charged during the free trial period
  • If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged for the subscription
  • You can cancel anytime during the trial without being charged

REFUNDS:

  • All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by law
  • Refund requests are handled by Apple per their refund policies
  • Contact Apple Support for refund inquiries

5. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMERS

NUTRITION INFORMATION:

  • All nutrition information is estimated and for informational purposes only
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy of nutrition data
  • Restaurant menus and recipes may change without notice
  • Always verify nutrition information with the restaurant
  • Consult healthcare professionals for personalized dietary advice
  • We are not responsible for dietary decisions you make based on our information

NO MEDICAL ADVICE:

  • MacroMate is not a medical device or health service
  • The app does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
  • Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical concerns

6. USER CONTENT AND CONDUCT

You agree not to:

  • Post or share inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service
  • Use automated systems to access the app

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • MacroMate and all content, features, and functionality are owned by us
  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works
  • User-generated content remains your property, but you grant us a license to use it

8. ACCOUNT TERMINATION

  • You can delete your account anytime in Settings
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
  • Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately
  • Subscription fees are non-refundable upon termination

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the last 12 months
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service

10. CHANGES TO TERMS

  • We may modify these terms at any time
  • Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of modified terms
  • Material changes will be communicated through the app or email

11. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
